I’m very pleased to be part of an exciting panel at the Hackers On Planet Earth, HOPE 9 Conference, July 13-15 here in New York City. I will be presenting with Chris Anderson, Gus Andrews, and Christina Dunbar-Hester

Our talk is called Technology To Change Society: What Not To Do, and we’re going to look at some of the ways that technology may and often doesn’t change society in the ways that we think it should. I’m going to talk about “hacking education” and what that might mean; looking at what we’re trying to do with the new Ed Tech program at Adelphi to forge education hackers.
So, get out of bed you lazy hacker, and join us at the Hotel Pennsylvania, 11am, Friday July 13th.
